First Daze Here
Artist: Pentegram
Label: Relapse Records
Year: 2002 CD / 2003 LP
The songs on the vinyl release are the unmixed master versions, making the songs generally sound less bassy and powerful. Other noteworthy differences of the vinyl version are: 1) The ending of Forever My Queen does not fade out but has a so-called cold ending; 2) There is a more distorted-sounding guitar on Livin' in a Ram's Head; 3) The song Starlady can be heard at a slower speed; and 4) The single version of Be Forewarned is not enhanced but mixed to resemble the original single release, including the original guitar solo by McAllister. The song Lazy Lady appears both on one of the the vinyl LPs and on the 7". The same song is misspelled on the back cover of the CD as one word (Lazylady) but appears correctly as two words (Lazy Lady) on the back of the LP cover. The LP-version mixes are not available on CD, except for Forever My Queen which is included on the Relapse sampler Contaminated (RR-6550-2)
