The Other Christine

I just swatch it. And it seems like the Row 4 should be k3, purl 11, k3.
It's not totally the same as the classic feather & fan pattern stitch, as the 11 stitches at the row above the [yo, k1] (x5), yo doesn't show the 'purl bump'.
Could you please check again?

Cara, if you look closely, there is no purl bump, just the one purl row (achieved by the knit on wrong side row). the pattern is wavy, so it looks like a purl "bump" but it actually continues all the way across. I already double checked.

Christine, may be i'm bad at describing.
Either my eyes give me problem or what. I thought if the Row 4 is Knit, it would show a purl row like the Feather & Fan pattern stitch featuring at http://www.knittersreview.com/article_how_to.asp?article=/review/profile/020704_a.asp [scroll to the Easy Lace Scarf section].
However, from the close up picture at http://www.spunmag.com/article/050410bevin, it does looks like http://www.knittersreview.com/images/lace_ffan_norib.jpg [refer to the same Knitter's Review's article but the "Notes" paragraph].
That's why i thougt the Row 4 is K3, P11, K3. And my swatch does looks like the close up picture at Spun Magazine.
Btw, i'm in the progress of knitting this Bevin Top, but at the back piece now. I'm sorry if i'm wrong and have been bringing so much trouble to you.
Thank you for your help. :)
